REMUS ESPORT SHOWS POTENTIAL

One-Two finish for Team Malmedie on the Red Bull Ring.

The REMUS GT3 Championship is right around the corner and we are ready to go racing. At the pre season event of the REMUS GT3 Championship, the liveries for Team Malmedie and Team Shmee have been revealed.

As a special guest the british hyper car collector, youtuber, influencer and team leader Shmee150 commentated the widely broadcasted pre season race, yet he had to watch how the opposit team finished both races ahead of his teammates.

The starting grid was a mix of real sim racers, influencers, streamers and real racing drivers. This was a good initial situation for an action packed pre season race. Right from the started the leading car of Moritz Löhner (Dörr Esports) was off and away, with Max Pfeiffer (MRS ESports) right behind him.

After a hard fought battle over 12 rounds Rächl made a small mistake which led to Löhners win of race one.

A special feature of the REMUS GT3 Championship is the grid for the second race of the evening. The results from race one are being reversed and the last from race one will be the pole sitter in race two. Danny Giusa (Haupt Racing Team), who did not finish in race one, was therefore to start from P1. As he led the way through the corners of the Red Bull Ring, it seemed as if he would take home the win, but over the last rounds of the race his Malmedie team mates Krippner and Pfeifer caught up with him and downgraded him to third place.

This action packed Preseason race shows the great potential of eSports. We are really excited to see how the first REMUS GT3 Championship turns out and hope to see many great fights on track.
